The best thing about this property was an extremely friendly and helpful female desk clerk. I don't remember her name and she was fairly young and very professional. No WiFi of their own but you can leech off of someone else's from the lobby. The maintenance is not great but lifted the toilet seat and it came off in my hands. The beds are not great. But this is a European hotel. A3-star European hotel must be equivalent to motel 6. I would stay in the hotel again the train from this hotel takes you to the end of a major tourist street that leads to most of the ancient Rome remains and some of the Renaissance structures. if you're looking for luxury or American standards this is not the place for you. American Standard hotels are much more expensive in Europe. You can see all of Rome's major attractions in a day and move on from this dirty city to another dirty Italian city or maybe get out of the country to Switzerland were the difference is dramatic.

It's a little north of the city and completely on the other side from the airport, but the service is excellent, ask the front desk they'll tell you where to go and how to get there. The train station into town is only 500 meters from the hotel and the trains run every 10 minutes on weekdays and saturdays and 20 minutes on sundays. Excellent, affordable and just a great economy hotel to stay at. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Rome.
