Per the previous comments we read on the website before we booked it is indeed located on a very noisy street. Our room was located at the corner of the building and had a wonderful view of the Fiori gardens across the street. It helped me feel immersed into Rome. If dead quiet is what you're after, look elsewhere. The bed was quite firm and we slept well. Please note that the luggage room they advertise is actually the hallway in front of the reception desk. The night clerk was very helpful in arranging a car to take us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning

I visited Hotel Fiori 15 years ago and this visit did not disappoint. The rooms had been redecorated and updated. Our flight wasn't leaving until night time and hotel allowed us to leave our luggage with them so we had an extra day in Rome.

This hotel is in a great location; all major sites are in walking distance and the red tour buses stop right outside the door (my boyfriend thought this was great!) The rooms are clean and fairly modern and I felt safe in this area of town. It is fairly noisy but so would most places in the center of Rome!

we found this to be a very good price for a hotel in rome. it is within walking distance to all the major sites. the room was clean and everything we had expected. When arriving at the station be sure to take the bus or taxi. you can walk but the side walks are alittle rough for luggange. We had a very good price (70 eu) for the room quality and the area we stayed in. i would definitly stay here again.

The hotel staff were very dishonest. I left 3 pairs of trousers on the bed as I was racing out to sightsee. I rang the hotel within 40minutes of departure and my trousers had mysteriously vanished. They were incredibly unhelpful and very rude, do not stay here they will steal from you!!!

You can not beat the location of Hotel Fiori! The gentleman who works in the evenings was very friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing people might find as a drawback is the street noise. We left the window open and enjoyed soaking up the Roman atmosphere!

This was our second trip to Rome and our third different hotel. This hotel was the best with regards to overall location/price/facility quality. The hotel is on Via Nazionale, which is a very busy road, so there was some significant road noise. Because it was February and the windows and shutters were closed, this didn't necessarily impede our ability to sleep, but I would imagine that during the summer months it would be rough. On the other hand, the fact that it's on Nazionale was nice: it was very easy to find and not an unbearably long walk from the train station, Termini; it was convenient to most of Rome's sites, though I'll admit we tend to walk a lot more than many people might be prone to do and, therefore, the distances for us might not seem as significant; there are lots of different types of shops (touristy, grocery, clothing, book, etc.) on Nazionale, making finding almost any item an easier task. Overall, the service here was a little more abrupt than we had seen in Venice or Florence, but it wasn't "bad". If you're worried about being able to communicate, the English of most of the employees wasn't great, but you could get by. Our room and bathroom were clean and efficient. There's really nothing spectacular to write about, just that it was sufficient for a hotel stay in a city that offers more than enough to keep you busy and away from your hotel for most of the day. The front desk is also able to reserve taxis for transport to the airport. Since we had to be at the airport by 6AM, this was a selling point for us. The taxi service they called was prompt (early, actually), reasonably priced (for a half hour private taxi ride at 5:20AM!) and courteous. The only complaint that I might have is that the hotel, in general (not necessarily our room), smelled of cigarette smoke. When we return to Rome, I would definitely consider staying in Hotel Fiori, though I would also research other options...

The hotel was very nice and the location was ideal. The only bad thing was our room was at the front of the building and its on a very busy road with a bus stop right outside (which was handy when we got the bus to the vatican) but it was a bit noisy at night. Overall it was good value for money & would recommend to friends!

Very close to ancient city which was our first sightseeing stop and pretty central to most other sights. We took a taxi to the Vatican ($13 Euros) so we could try and beat the crowds early in the morning. You have to look a few blocks off in all directions for restaurants but the room was very nice and clean as well as the bathroom. The air conditioning was excellent but you have to pay for it and ask for the remote control from the front desk to work it. It was a little noisy at night as we were right on Via Nazionale which is busy but the triple glazed windows cut out most of it. The bed was pretty comfortable (by Italian standards) and the breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly and arranged for a (very nice) car to take us to the airport for 45 Euros (which as I understand it is almost half price what a taxi would charge). When we arrived It was a short taxi ride to get there from the train station but could be walked if you don't have much baggage. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The room was VERY small but it didn't really matter since all we did was sleep there. The street outside was noisy but with the window closed at night, it was quiet. The one thing that really bothered me about our stay was the service. Everyone at the front desk was an absolute jerk. They were all extremely rude, I hated the thought of coming into the building because I knew I would have to run into them. Except for the rudeness, everything else was fine, good breakfast, clean bathrooms (althoug very small shower).

The location could not have been better! Many sites are reachable by walking. We traveled with two children: 13 and 16 years old. Because via nationale is a main street it was noisy, as expected. The rooms were clean and everything in great condition. The bathroom was newer and modern. Breakfast was good but small. Considering the low price the hotel is highly recommendable.

Excellent location...family of five. The room was a little small however the location was perfect (ALL MAJOR BUS STOPS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR). An attendant by the name of louiggi was very helpful. Overall good experience.....WOULD DEFINETELY RECOMMEND

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. While it was a small room, it is what I expected it to be in Rome. The location was excellent, a few blocks from the Trevi.

Excellent location. Clean room and ensuite. Nice but simple breakfast. 2 single beds to make a double. Would expect more for the price of it.

Hotel and room was everything said to be in the listing. Very clean, as quiet as expected on a busy Roman street, with windows closed there is no problem, nothing unusual just medium traffic. Night deskman (an older gentleman) was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast staff was rude (BUT it happened to be raining that morning and I was told by a cab driver that all Romans are in terrible moods when it rains, so no hard feelings). Morning deskman arranged, for 40 Euro, a private Mercedes to the airport, very, very nice. Pricey in dollars, but Rome is not cheap to stay in. Location was excellent for the price. The hotel is within walking distance, with light luggage, or a short and cheap taxi ride, from main train station. Outside is a bus that goes directly to the Vatican. 5 Euro will get you to most major sites by taxi around the hotel. Beautiful and peaceful view of a raised city park direct from the second floor windows of the hotel. Shower was clean, no problems with water, the bed was fine and the T.V. had CNN. Fine choice.

The location of the property is good. But there are a few drawbacks. First, the lift to the hotel is congested and gives a weird impression. Secondly, the noise from traffic is extremely loud till very late. I had to open the windows because it was extremely hot in the room. Thirdly, you have to pay extra for Air Conditioning per night. Fourthly, the staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming. The prices are good compared to the fact that you are in a very good location in Rome. But I look like to see how much are the bigger hotels in the area, if they are only 20-30% more pricy then I would surely go for them and their standard would be quite higher.
