Stay away from this hotel - especially in summer!!! The hotel would like to be fancy - but it's extremely badly designed and badly managed. We stayed there one night in August. It was a hot summer day and warm night. The rooms have an extremely small window, which has only a 5cm wide opening gap. There is no air conditioner or even any ventilation system. We almost suffocated in the room due to the heat and lack of oxygen. The hotel has staged the owner's father's birthday party on the same night. The next morning most of the restaurant staff was missing... it was a total chaos at breakfast! There were rather few guests, but still the dirty dishes were not collected from the tables and there was practically nothing to eat... no meat, no vegetables, no water, no coffee... the 2-3 waitresses were haplessly running around, didn't know what to do. Finally they asked probably some friends to pop-in wearing street clothes and help with the dishes. As a compensation, they offered a few measly percentages discount.

2. From: Robert, Tallinn
 Date of Stay: November, 2007
I reviewed our hotel visit already from August, but I made the mistake to visit the place again with my girlfriend - stupid man doesn't learn even from own mistakes. It just happened that there were no other spa hotels available for the weekend in Estonia and we thought OK... probably the rooms will not be too hot in winter and they surely fixed the problem with their breakfasts... well, I remain extremely disappointed again after my second (and really last!!!) visit. Hereby what happened: Thursday: - I booked the hotel until Sunday. Booking was wrong, I had room confirmed only until Friday. No problem, they fixed it. - Around midnight the guests in neighbouring room were extremely loud (youngsters, having party). I asked the reception three times to do something about it... they couldn't. Finally, I requested a room change in the middle of the night and I got it. Friday: - classic massage in the morning: the lady doing the massage had a terrible flu with red nose, constant coughing... and besides, she was talking all massage long (which was supposed to be relaxing). The massage room was white, like an emergency room... loud music, and a blinding-strong light on the ceiling. - in the afternoon we were locked out from the room. They forgot to extend the room key until Sunday. No problem. But later, when we tried to get some relaxing sleep, we were woken up three times: 1.) the reception called, if we really stay until Sunday?? 2.) the cleaning lady entered the room, woke us up and asked if we want to have the towels changed (no, we didn't want!) 3.) the spa reception called, that I shall go down and pay for the treatments at the end of every day!!! I was becoming increasingly irritated. Saturday: - I had warm water, but my girlfriend had to take shower in cold water already - the breakfast-misery has repeated in smaller scale. We waited very long for meat, eggs, coffee and they completely ran out of fruits and apple juice (1 hour before the end of breakfast time) - Tibet massage for me: it was OK, but the lady was talking again all the time. - facial treatment for problematic skin: both my girlfriend and me took the cosmetic treatments from different ladies. Both cosmeticians were extremely beginners, with a total lack of skills. We had quite normal skin with very few problems before the treatments - but during the treatment we were both tortured by the cosmeticians, who left really deep red marks all over our faces - and comically, some problem spots were not treated at all. They were just pushing around a little bit and then put a 20-minutes mask and it was all. We were extremely disappointed and it takes probably weeks, until the treatment's marks will disappear. - there's only one computer in the lobby for public internet use. The computer wasn't working properly and when I asked the receptionists if it can be fixed, they told that it's possible only on Monday. - during our afternoon sleep, the same story as on Friday: 1.) phone call from the reception, that why we didn't check out today - and if we stay, then I need to go down and extend my room key!! 2.) cleaning lady walks in during our sleep and asks if we need cleaning (no, we still didn't want) 3.) a phone call from the spa reception, that Sunday's honey massage time is changed for my girlfriend - I was already truly upset and wanted to talk to the hotel manager or any supervisor. The ladies at the reception informed, that it's not possible during the weekend - in the evening we had an otherwise good dinner in the restaurant, and tried to relax and enjoy some tea in the lobby. But some young local guys were hanging around in the lobby, drinking beer from the bottle, chatting with the receptionist ladies, having fun with the extremely slow public computer and swearing loud... finally, after half-an hour the receptionists came to the idea to send them out Sunday - of course, when my girlfriend went to the spa, it turned out that they can't provide the agreed honey massage. They did something else instead. We paid the bill with a rather bitter taste in my mouth - and as there was nobody to complain personally, I paid the total sum.
