The lodge offers 20 cabins in 5 separate clearings that provides quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Designed to blend in to their surrounds, the cabins are all air-conditioned, with high ceilings and fully screened, louvered windows, which open directly to the rainforest. Heritage Lodge boasts a fully licensed restaurant and bar that overlook the magnificent rock pools of Cooper Creek, offering fine dining in a dense rainforest atmosphere. The resort pool is surrounded by towering black palms and 10 metre tall tree ferns, providing a unique rainforest setting. Daintree Natural Therapies and Spa is also located on the property.
Description:
Location. The Daintree Cape Tribulation Heritage Lodge is located in the Daintree Rainforest, one of the planet's most ancient rainforests. The lodge is approximately 11 miles across the Daintree River and adjoins the crystal clear swimming holes of Cooper Creek. The lodge is a three kilometers from Thornton Beach. The lodge is 155 kilometers from Cairns International Airport.
Hotel Features..The area in which the Daintree Cape Tribulation Heritage Lodge is boasts more rare and endangered plant and animal species than the Galapagos Islands. Although in the middle of pristine nature, the lodge offers all of the modern conveniences of civilization. Fine dining, in-room massages and natural therapies are featured at the lodge. The lodge offers a tour desk and courtesy booking services, an outdoor pool, self-guided rainforest walks and a guest library. Undercover Parking and bike rentals are available on site.

Guestrooms. The Daintree Cape Tribulation Heritage Lodge offers 20 cabins located in five separate clearings. Guest numbers are limited to this rainforest lodge to maintain serenity and tranquility. Cabins are air-conditioned and feature high ceilings and fully screened, louvered windows, which open directly to the rainforest. In keeping with the feel of a lodge, there are no telephones in the accommodations. A phone is available for use in the lobby. Televisions with DVD players are available in select rooms and a DVD library is available on site. There is no television reception in this region.

Expert Tip. A two-hour rock hiking journey to Alexandra Falls to see the cascading beauty is available. The falls can be seen from the lodge. Packed lunches are also available.

Transportation:
To get here from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway North from Cairns ( It's the only main highway). Follow the signs to Mossman ( it's a direct drive ). Once in Mossman, drive through the town and you will see a road veering left signed " Daintree Township/ Daintreee River Ferry". Veer left and follow that road for apprximately 25km. At that point you will take a right turn at the sign "Daintree River Ferry/ Cape Tribulation". Follow that road to the ferry and cross the river by ferry. Once across the ferry, we are on Turpentine Road which is on the left, 19km over the ferry. There is a large "Heritage Lodge" sign on the corner. We are 700 metres down Turpenrtine Road. Another sign marks our entrance. The drive is approximately 2 hours in total and is all on well signed, good quality sealed roads.
