we stayed in the 2nd from top cabin type, */night, that's after we talked our hosts down from the */night cabin. What did we get for this cost - full breakfast, some short local walks, that's all. Be prepared to spend more if you want to see all that there is. This is a typical Voyages property - over marketed and expensive.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and while a bit expensive, the food was quite impressive and of good quality and/or high standard. Not a good place to pick if you have small children - few activities to keep them entertained and you do not have a television, however if you are there for the scenery, hiking and relaxation, this is one of the best picks in Cradle Mountain. We very much enjoyed our stay and will probably be back.

Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts excellent. Both restrauant and bar had excellent meals.

For a cabin costing $345 per night it was very basic. It had no TV or DVD facility. The insect blinds did not seal and there was no cooling system, not even a fan. The patio was unusable. The main lodge was full of character and should have a wonderful atmosphere in cold weather. The staff encountered, although young, were friendly and helpful.
