| Chonor House was designed and built by British architect David Porter to blend into the hills overlooking the Kangra valley. Built by the Norbulingka Institute to preserve Tibetan culture, it overlooks the Dalai Lama’s temple. The hotel has 11 well-appointed rooms each uniquely decorated to a different Tibetan theme.
