Room very clean & comfortable, modern bathroom good bed. Our room was right next to breakfast room so early morning noise would be a problem for those who don't use earplugs. Good location, walking distance to station but quiet street.Excellent bakery opposite and telephone/internet service around the corner. Close to shopping precinct & underground train. Should have had tourist map available. Would stay again.

Location wise it was great because it was so close to the central station and therefore easy to get to and from. The hotal was beautiful, rooms were large and clean. People were helpful and they have a recpetionist there 24 hours a day which is great for milan.

It is only ten minutes walk from train station. As it is not situated in main road, it is quite quiet. Moreover, the staff are very nice and helpful. I would recommend to those who are looking for a hotel in Milan with reasonable price and close to train station. As we hadn't have the breakfast for we were in a hurry, we had no comment on it.

Everything was as expected. One only bad thing: our room was right next to the entrance and we could hear clients talking when entering the hotel (room n°5).

We had to beg for soap and towels, and our room had the tv on with a gay porn tape running! It also smelled of smoke, and had cheesy girlie pictures above the bed. We wondered if it was a hot sheets place after a while.

The room did not contain a bar fridge for the keeping of drinks, etc (especially in European summer conditions). And my room did not have airconditioning but did have a fan. If staying here in the summer months make sure you ask for a room with airconditioning.

We were pleasently surprised by hotel Charlie. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and we had our own sink and bidet. There was no disturbance from any other guests. The shared bathroom was also extremely clean and had a lock on the door for privacy. The hotel is in a convenient location, situated just 2 minutes walk from the Central Station. The Duomo (central Milan) is an approx 15-20 minute walk, and there is also a tube station nearby, as well as numerous tram and bus stops. I would certainly choose Charly again upon a return trip to Milan.

When my husband and I first arrived, we were a little confused with the map from the web site but with a little help from someone along the road, we found the hotel. It is an excellent location from the train station. Not too sure about walking around after dark. The staff was excellent. I fell ill upon arrival and need medical attention and they were very helpful and sympathetic to my needs. Would definitely book this hotel again if I'm every in Milan again

Extremely good value in convenient place for Station and Metro. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bread as well as brioche would be an improvement but otherwise can not be faulted. Will happily return.
