The hotel has been awarded as “Bicycle-friendly Hotel” by the German Bicycle Club ADFC. We provide spaces for bicycles in the courtyard. On request, the hotel even arranges a luggage transport for cyclists to their next destination.

The hotel’s impressive historic, listed building is in the very centre of the beautiful, fascinating city of Bamberg.
As its name suggests, the hotel is in the heart of this wonderful city and all of Bamberg’s magnificent sights are within easy walking distance. The city itself has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is easy to see why. The Franconian Rome, Little Venice, the Beer and Bratwurst Capital, the City of Culture and Arts, the Chapel and Baroque City – Bamberg has many names and you can easily explore why from the hotel’s excellent location next to the city’s central pedestrian zone.

The hotel has 60 beds in single, twin, double and triple rooms. Despite the central location, the rooms are all quiet and most of them have a private balcony.

- A cab to the hotel costs about EUR 80,-
- You may also take the subway no. U2 from the airport to the central station in Nuremberg
- From Nuremberg take the train to Bamberg and follow the directions from above
