Exhibited in the house are some fascinating historical artefacts including the preserved original building permit, manuscripts and letters from the Ottoman period and some wonderful examples of Ottoman calligraphy. Witness Bosnian cultural relics and crafts up close in the form of hand made handkerchiefs, purses, blankets and clothes. There are also a number of precious books written in Turkish, Persian and Arabic.

We have traditional Bosnian rooms in Ottoman style with beautifully decorated ceilings, furniture and antiques all around you. This historical and intimate family run establishment was opened to guests in 2006. The time-honoured décor, which has been carefully restored to enhance the natural beauty of the museum, is juxtaposed sympathetically with contemporary conveniences; all the rooms are complete with heating, air conditioning and free wireless internet.  There are two reasons to come to Mostar; the first is the famous bridge; the other is this house... It is like stepping back in time, but still have the modern comfort of a shower and toilet (discretely tucked away in the closet...) It has a small walled garden where you can have breakfast

Not bad but it could be better. Price too high for the money.
