A lovely hotel, very clean and modern. I found the staff very unhelpful and quite intimidating which made my stay uncomfortable at times.

I really liked the hotel. It is modern, stylish, but somehow not cold. I have small "issues" with the tap, the light switches and the size of the breakfast space, but overall, I was really happy to stay there.

Great hotel with lovely facilities. The wellness room is great. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke English, French, Italian and Hungarian. The only slight annoying thing was the nosiness of the cleaning staff in the morning in the corridors. we would stay there again.

A lovely hotel overall, lots of places in the public area to sit & read. Free tea /coffee minerals /water + sm snacks in the bar.Set about 3 mins walk from the Parliment and 10/15 mins from main Xmas market.took a cruise on the Danbue - really relaxed. Rooms were a little small as I stayed 10 days for dental treatments - hanging space and shelves but no drawers which left the long phone table full of stuff - bathroom fine - little cramped around the sink. Very hot in the room so we turned the heating off all together and it was fine. Opera was fab. would stay again for a short break.

Loved this hotel! The location is kind of odd as it is between two very active areas of Budapest, but quite quiet around the hotel. A short walk to two subway stations, and very close to the Parliment Building. Recently redone in 2006 and it is quite modern in every respect. Bathroom was very chic. Staff was very accomodating, especially Ishtvan at the front desk. Hotel had the very best breakfast of any hotel I have every stayed at in Europe. Scrambled eggs, bacon, european sausage, and of all things, fresh quartered tomatoes, sliced English cucumbers, and red, yellow and green bell peppers. It also had the other usual items of cold cuts, breads, cereal, yogurt and juices. May partner did complain about the coffee service as the machine would only make one cup at a time, and tehre was often a line of six people waiting to get a cup of coffee. Liked the two small TVs in the Breakfast Room so I could get caught up on CNN without bothering the whole room. There was a nice jacuzzi in the wellness room with a sauna and cold showers. Two computer workstations in the lobby to check e-mail and the weather, gratis.

I'd recommend this spot. It's perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from the Parliament, great if you want to walk around the city...very close to many restaurants and bars (I'd recommend the rock bar just up the street - across the road). Only downside was it's a wee bit noisy - there was a constant buzz in the room from the electricity, and we could here the roudier customers coming in at night, but at that I've been in noisier. If you are going to book somewhere mid-range this place is great value for money, and it's all about location, location, location!

Although there was work being done on the street in front of the hotel it did not impact on our stay at all. The hotel staff were fabulous, their english great and all were very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we have had from any property we have booked via venere. Highly recommend this property. Walking distance from most of Budapest's highlights or easily accessable to others via train or tram.
