| I have stayed in Best Western Euro Hotel for 4 nights and found it a wonderful base in Berlin. The underground and Bus stops are just across the hotel door and very convenient to travel to important destinations within Berlin. The connection from main train station (Hauftbahnhof), Tegel (TXL) and Schoenefeld is easy and inexpensive. On the same block of the hotel you can find a department store, a Mc Donald’s, dunking donuts, a pharmacy, a bar, a bakery and lots of other stores. The rooms are small but comfortable. They also arranged a child bed (free of cost) as I requested while booking. Rooms are clean and has a mini bar, telephone, TV and internet connection to your own computer. In case if you don't have a computer never mind there a public internet shop nearby and is very cheap (I paid Euro 0.33 cents for 20 minutes). We stayed in 4th floor in the side of Sonnenalle street. One note, the rooms are not air conditioned, and if you open the windows, the traffic noise can be a bit loud. If that is not an issue for you then I would give this hotel an excellent rating.
Breakfast was just good with a large selection of breads, meat, cheese, eggs, yoghurts, fruits, and drinks. Hotel staffs are friendly and you can purchase the public transportation tickets from them for the same price. I also booked the city tour with them. I would definitely recommend the hotel for people who are visiting Berlin as a tourist person, business or people with families. I found this hotel is comfortable but not very luxurious. |
