The neighbouring town of Ahrweiler has a historic city wall and original timber-framed houses, dating from Medieval times right up to Art Nouveau. The wine harvest festival in September and the historical Christmas market are particularly noteworthy.

If coming by car from the south, from the Koblenz, Mannheim, Mainz or Ludwigshafen directions, approach along the A61 motorway, exiting at Autobahndreieck Sinzig. Follow the main line of traffic, go straight on at the first traffic light, cross the railway tracks and pass the station on the right-hand side. Go straight on at the roundabout until you reach the Audi-VW garage. Then turn left into the Wolfgang-Müller-Straße, and drive to the end of this street, where you will see the hotel on the left-hand side.
If arriving by public transport, taxis are available from the Bad Neuenahr station, and from Bad Neuenahr airport, just 3 km from the hotel.
