| We had a memorable stay at the hotel. The moment we step out of the taxi to the check-in counter to the room, it was nothing but WOW! The restaurant and cafe served excellent food at reasonable price. The staff are helpful, friendly and honest. Although its says no tipping, we still tip the guy (forgot to ask for his name)who sent our luggage up. He politely told us that this hotel accept no tips. What a wonderful place to stay, we exclaimed. Thanks to the Management.
As for location, though it is situated in the residential area, getting around is easy. Taxis are available any time. Also commendable is that the staff will diligently note down the taxi no. on a card with details of the hotel for guest for reference. Will stay in Best Western Xiamen Central Hotel again. :)) |

| Overall a nice place to stay. However, the hotel charged RMB 615 per night, plus RMB 24.50 for Government Tax. RMB 615.00 is about USD 76.00, which is 10 dollars more than the room rate listed on your website : USD 66.00 per night. I feel whacked. |
