| Regardless of price we were disgusted with this place - checked in and out again within 5 minutes despite being offered an upgraded room. Stains in furniture, bedding, carpets...cracks in walls and mirrors...broken sockets...easily the worst accommodation either of us has ever had the displeasure of setting foot in. If you're on a budget stick to hostels! |

| The stay was first-class. Excellent breakfasts; very good restaurant; spacious room. Only criticism was that the pool was very cold indeed; perhaps some covering at night needed. |

| did not enjoy staying at this accomodation at all. The elevator is prehistoric and the rooms where something for a backpacker. The bed had a huge sag and was so uncomfortable. I would never recommend it to anyone. |

| Overpriced for the standard of facilities provided. Noisy airconditioning plant outside the room. Great location, very convenient to the CBD and rail. |

| A very basic room: no bedside tables, therefore no bedside lamps. Curtains (with broken cords) didn't quite span the windows. Cramped ensuite with no towel rails. At $99 it was only just OK: definitely would NOT have paid $149. Idiosyncratic parking. Put up with this for the fabulous central location. |

| We chose to stay in an apartment tower room to enable us to prepare our own meals. The room and kitchenette were small but quite adequate for two. We had two minor complaints - there were no breakfast bowls supplied and one of the bedside lights appeared to be broken. The hotel is ideally located just a short walk from the Queen St mall and it is on the City Sightseeing bus route; however it is an uphill walk from the city centre so provides plenty of exercise if you are walking. We would stay in the apartment tower again. |

| Simple little things like shower caps and bikkies replenished each day would have been welcome and expected at that price. |

| Enjoyed our time here, very pleasant on reception, shame the hotel is at the top of a hill if you are walking into town. Hard work with a wheelchair. |

| The hotel/apartment is very good located in the city. The infrastructure is old and needs refurbishment. Kitchen is available but there's no minibar. TV has foxtel. Wireless Lan is available.
Reception staff is not friendly at all. Parking is a hassle the - you have to drive around two blocks to get at the parking area where you have to wait till the responsible staff is showing up. And instead they take care of your car you have to park it in a special parking system. Shower had not hot water due boiler problems. The hotel management didn't even apologize. Over all I must say there are much better and nicer 4* hotels in Brisbane CBD with much friendlier service. |

| Being on the ground floor. I could hear everything from person showering next door, to the baby crying upstairs, staff conversations outside my window as well as the 5 oclock garbage truck collection every morning. Did not feel safe or secure in the room. Quality of service varied significantly depending on who you spoke to. |

| Handy to all city amenities. We were in the Astor part which is an older style hotel. Our room was spacious. |

| I paid for a Tower apartment and was sent down a fight of stairs below ground floor. I then had to climb a flight of stairs into the room which was uncomfortable and undesirable. The shower and toilet we in a space no bigger than 6'x 3'and you could not get to the toilet without squeezing around the door. I queried the room & was told this was the old section & was still considered tower apartment. No likely |

| Parking is a bit of an exercise but at least it is available at a reasonable price. Well located to CBD , if you don't like walking back up the hill $5-6 on a taxi is an alternative.
Restaurant serves excellent food al fresco |
