Excellent standard of accommodation, 15 minutes walk from St. Peter's and the Vatican. Also 5 minutes walk from Metro, and 10 minutes from bus terminus giving easy access to the entire city. The best breakfast in all of Italy delivered to your room every morning! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Rome! Breakfast was lovely and room was very comfortable. Only problem was trying to find someone to pay for our stay.

The breakfast was simply the most amazing we had in all the b&b's we stayed in. Extremely yummy and a luxury after just flying in. The service was lovely and the room clean and super quiet for Rome. The metro(subway) is right around the corner and there is lovely restaurants just down the street and a cute wine bar across the street. It was a 10-15 minute walk to st.peters and we did it right after arriving. There was a lift so you don't have to haul your luggage. They also had a phone card available in the room that you could buy which was a big help for us, and the internet too so we could tell family we were ok. We would totally stay here again if we visited Rome and thought it was simply an amazing B&B.

I had a superior double room. The room, facilities and the breakfrast was awsome. The location was super, because it reminds you that you're in Rome, very quiet, one block from the Metro station giving you accessibility to the center and site viewing. Plus near St. Peter and the Vatican. I reccomend it for a super stay in Rome

This is a wonderful B&B and so close to Vatican too. It is spotlessy clean and you get the most wonderful breakfast served in your room in the morning. We went with our 2 teenage children and it proved an ideal venue - I would recommed this to anyone and excellent value too.

Breakfast is great, one of the best I ever had on my trips. I had the smallest room of the property (was cheaper) but it was very clever furnished so you had all you needed in it (including DVD and Satellite). You also have access to another room (somehow like a reception) where you have laptop with internet, DVDs to watch, printer, etc. Quite great at this price.

I can't fault Best B&B Vatican. The service was fantastic. It was quiet (I just hope that our baby did not keep others awake). The breakfast was huge. We could not possibly eat it all and took some of the leftover pastries away with us to eat during the day. The staff were lovely. It felt very secure. There is a great wine bar and restaurant across the road and of course it was very close to Vatican City. It was a bit of a struggle for us with luggage and a baby to get there from Termini but that was because we had a lot of stuff we had to get up and down stairs in the Metro. It is an easy walking distance to the Metro station.

Beware of the 'twin room' at Best Vatican!! For couples sharing a room, this B&B would probably be just fine. I had specifically emailed the B&B to check that twin-rooms were available and had received a 'yes, of course' response. They provide a double bed in the room, and what can only be described as a camp-bed (unfolded from a footstool) suitable for a child at best. I spent 2 very uncomfortable nights on a hard and narrow bed - with holes in the sheets! I did complain to the manager (as the bed was not even made up when we arrived & we had to do it ourselves - the gentleman who met us complained that it was not his job.....!!). I suggested that they ought to be more specific about the twin-share accomodation on their website - ie, that twin rooms (with two proper beds) are really only available at their other B&B Pantheon. Georgia (the manager) said that she would do this, and also offered me a small discount (10%) on the accomodation. This B&B has had excellent reviews on this site, and this was the basis of my choice of hotel in Rome. I agree that the breakfasts are very good and the hotel is in a good location. It is disappointing that my experience was unsatisfactory and I do hope that information regarding twin-share is made clearer on their website.

This place was lovely. The Best breakfast is definitely the best. Also, there was a huge wide screen tv on the wall, a safe box, plenty of space, dimmer lights, incredibly soft towels and bath mat, hot powerful shower and even slippers for plodding around the bathroom. All other facilities were as listed too. The rooms were quiet and you were left pretty much to yourself although people were generally helpful when you asked them for something. This place and the people who run it were really accomodating; they even brought us breakfast (served in your room) almost an hour before the regular time because we had an early flight home that day. If it hadn't been for the power shower shooting straight out the door when I tried the water temperature and the key being a bit tricky in the door (so that we woke people up trying to get into our room), i'd have probably given it top scores all round. Will definitely recommend it.

Whilst the room and breakfast was good, we were extremely disapointed because each of the four nights we were there the electricity cut out. Meaning we could not shower, relax, sleep or even see our selves into the building. There was no apology from the hotel management or compensation for the loss in services - which I think is just as bad, if not worse then not having electricity.

The name of this B&B says everything itself - it's really the best! The design of the room and and public areas, the friendly hostess, the services or, i would say, extras provided, like DVD, slippers, etc. and the breakfast... First, served in the room, second, the amount and quality of food is more than you could ever expect! Highly recommended!

The location was excellent. Nice quiet and safe neighbourhood and very close to met transport. 500 tv channels. Room very clean and comfortable. Excellent security. You need to inform them your time of arrival so someone can be there to greet you. However, no one was there when we said we would arrive so we sat outside for an hour until Sandro came. He was very apologetic and helpful. Breakfast is best in Italy. This place is highly recommended.
