I chose this hotel because I didn't want to pay the premium prices of the Ringstrasse hotels, but I regretted that decision when we arrived. The lobby is beautiful, but our room was ugly, especially at night when lit only by the lamps with the orange lamp shades. The front desk staff didn't seem very welcoming, but did give us the help we needed when we asked. The location isn't great, as I knew, but public transportation is easily available nearby. The restaurant has a cover charge and the food was pricey, but quite good. This hotel didn't quite meet my expectations, but it was certainly an adequate place to stay and probably worth what we paid.

Our good impression was shadowed by the discomfort related to the places for stop to check-in. There are civil persons who survey the parking areas of the city. They hunt the foreigner tourists who don’t know the parking rules in the front of the hotel when they make the check-in. The hotel administration must do something about this.

Siamo stati in vacanza a Vienna per 4 giorni. L'hotel è ben collegato e facile da raggiungere. Ottimo il livello di qualità del personale, soprattutto la cordialità.

The decor was perfectly Viennese, with neo-classical accents and period paintings adorning the walls. A grand marble staircase made one feel like royalty en route to one's room. The room was bright, with high ceilings, nice colors, and lots of space. The room's desk, with fast, free internet connectivity made the trip productive and efficient as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a delicious buffet of fruits, breads, meets and cheeses. The hotel was located right next to public trams, and a couple blocks from the U-Bahn. A tree-lined path along the Danube canal, two blocks away, provided a splendid place for a morning jog or walk.

The breakfast buffet offered very little, despite the price of 14 euros. At breakfast, I had to ask for butter, and it was spoiled. On the first day, our room was cleaned. On the second day, our room had not been cleaned and the bed was not made. When we complained on our way out, they sent up fresh towels but our bed was still not made and the room had not been cleaned.

Our room was spacious and clean. Not in the city center but near the tram and the subway connections. Breakfast was not included in our price and that is quite expensive if you buy it separately. Friendly staff and cannot complain overall.

Wonderfully quiet hotel, convenient to public transit (tram on the corner, Metro/subway a few blocks away), grocery market and internet cafe within steps. Definitely recommend!

The shower is strange No access to the TV5 and Arté and no answer from the employees. The fruit salad at the breakfast was not fresh . We'll never come back in this Hostel .

Worst hotel I stayed in during 16 day trip in Europe. No air conditioning or fans, grump behind the front desk. Elevators barely big enough to hold four average size people--forget the luggage! Appeared run down, though may be trying to renovate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bellevue. The hotel is located close to Franz Josef station and it is very quick and easy to travel into the main tourist areas by either the Metro or the bus. Both are excellent services and the Vienna Card is very good value. There is a supermarket across the road from the hotel including fresh fruit, bread, etc. We booked a superior room which turned out to be good value. The room was very large with high ceilings, a good size bathroom, lounge area as well as a large bed. Room was quiet with good soundproofing from the road below. We were so impressed we stayed at the hotel again later in our travels. Don't know what the standard rooms at like but we can certainly recommend the superior rooms.

Clean and elegant, located close to a metro station. Near the hotel you can find a lot of restaurants and bars, but if you go by car and you won't park it in the hotel parking, you have to buy a daily parking ticket

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Bellevue and regretted staying only 2 days in Vienna. The hotel is extremely well priced for a 4 star. The reception staff was helpful and gave us great tips on the surrounding areas. We came in from Sudhbhanoff and took the TRAM D which was approximately 13 to 14 stops to the hotel. After staying in 2 to 4 stars hotel in other countries, we finally got a real "hotel"... nice soft beds, modern bathroom, airconditioning, cable, WIFI etc. We preferred to take the U-bahn (metro) which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel (I'm a slow walker). The metro was easy to navigate although the Vienna map looks daunting so although you are not in the inner stradt, transpo is so easy. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to family and friends.
