This could have been a great experience, but we did not seem to be expected and the breakfast arrangements were so poor that we brought in our own supplies for the final morning. The fact that you were required to wash your own dishes did not add to the experience.

The owner is very helpful, the breakfast is good, you can use the kitchen, it's a very friendly place, the house is in a very nice surrounding. It's not like an hotel, it seems that you are visiting a relative in a country house. I absolutely recommend it for some days of relax. It's difficult to arrive because it's not well indicated (it's in the middle of vineyards) but near to Poggibonsi, to supermarket, to main roads, to San Gimignano (a beautiful town).

We appreciated the swimming pool and the fact that beds were done everyday and towels changed every two days. The place is a former farm and has been nicely transformed. One little thing : why no fresh bread in the morning ? Simone the owner speaks some English but not his employees and the language barrier can be a problem. The surroundings are lovely. There are some nice little restaurants in Poggibonsi. Really good value for money.

This place is a little piece of paradise. It is set outside of town in the middle of a vineyard and the view by the pool is wonderful. It is a practical base to visit San Gimignano and Siena. However Poggibonsi is a boring city with nothing in it.

A wonderful stay. Our host, Simone, was great. Very accomodating and helpful, also just plain friendly and eager to visit with us, he made the stay excellent. I particularly liked the breakfast accomodations - a large kitchen with everything laid out each morning for us to prepare. He also sells fine local wines as the B&B is a former winery. I'd definitely recommend this place - what a bargain!
