We traveled all through Italy and our stay at Antiche Figure was the highlight of our trip. The hotel directions were perfect and we found it right away after arriving from the airport via bus. From the moment we walked in the front door, the staff was outstanding. We cannot say enough about Alessandro, Francesca, Gianni, Monica and the rest of the staff who were so friendly and eager to help us with everything from restaurants to vaperetto schedules. They gave us the choice of three standard rooms that they had available. Our room and bathroom were a good size and furnished very nicely. The breakfast each morning was very good and they personally made our coffee just the way we liked it. The location is in Santa Croce, which we appreciated because it kept us away from the crowds and noise. The vaperetto station was very close and made it easy to get anywhere. We highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return again.

We recently stayed at the Antiche Figure while in Venice. The hotel is right near the bus station and train station and directly on the Grande Canal. Our room was very nice and we had 3 windows with a great view. Gondolas right in front, plenty of good resturants nearby and not a long walk to San Marco or the Realti Bridge. We would definately stay here again. Staff was very nice. Only complaint would be with the breakfast. Kind of a weak offering and poor coffee.

Great location, beautiful rooms and very helpful hotel staff. Especially with the front desk staff, they were always very helpful and had a great attention to detail and info on Venice. Marble bathrooms were spacious and new. The whole hotel was lovely and totally updated. Only drawback was that it was a little hard to find with the directions on the website. Once we contacted the hotel, they gave us full details and everything was fine.

Incredibly convenient hotel if you're travelling by train as it's directly opposite the station. Staff are fantastic, very helpful & gave gave great restaurant recommendations. Rooms small but clean, we spend very little time in the room so not an issue. The upgraded executive rooms are well worth the extra. Beautifully furnished with the convenience of cooking facilities if you require. One of our highlights in our tour of Italy!!!

The Hotel Antiche Figure in Venice, Italy was a quaint, pleasant and clean atmosphere located on the Grand Canal. The staff were outstanding! We had travelled 18 days in Italy and the entire staff far exceeded any other hotel we had stayed at during our visit. They were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable...a breath of fresh air!

The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to help me with several items including: tracking lost luggage, tour suggestions, arranging transportation and sending me quotes on gondola rides.

This was our first time staying in Venice and the hotel provided excellent and extremely well located accommodation; on arrival we were offered an upgrade to a suite at a very reasonable supplement. The helpfulness of the staff was outstanding and enabled us to travel around Venice with confidence using public transport. The hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from the main bus terminal; however visitors need to be aware that cases have to be carried over two bridges of steps unless you want to pay a fortune for a water taxi. The walking instructions to the hotel are not entirely clear on the website but we still found it with ease by following the Grande Canal. The hotel is in perfect position to enable travel throughout all parts of the city both walking and by public transport. If we were to return to Venice we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all.

This hotel is a real gem. The location is great - on the canal but away from the masses - very close to the railway station and bus terminal. Rooms are large by European standards and finished to a very high standard. Free Internet access in the lobby. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are incredibly helpful and go out of their way with each and every guest. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel is a must for train travellers. It is a 2-minute walk from the station, and it is great. The room and bathroom are both lovely. The staff speak excellent English, and are very helpful. (One helped us avoid the hassles of a train strike.) The literature we read didn't mention a/c, but it does have it. While expensive (as is everything in Venice) for a 3-star hotel, I would highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel, well located near the rail station, bus station, car park and Grand Canale. The staff was very helping especially the lady at the reception who even upgraded our room. We had a very quite and pleasant room that was decorated in Venetian style. We loved the hotel and our stay in Venice.
