Very clean hotel, our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels every day and one day the maid even fixed my Razor. The dining room was small but cosy and pleasantly decorated. Food was plentiful and tasty. All but one of the staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful. The directions for the hotel were easy to follow and we found it was an excellent base to visit all the major sites and not far from Rialto Bridge, which is a good stop for the water taxis for getting around. Our only grumble was that as we were there for a week, we soon got bored of ham and cheese and croissants for breakfast, we both longed for a bacon butty by day 3!!

Breakfast is poor but expected from previous reviews. However, the overall quality of the pension and its location make up for this. 5 min walk to San Marco and Rialto Bridge make it an ideal location. Staff is very friendly and pension is clean. Your price ended up being changed by the pension upon booking as they refused to give us a room for 2 adults and 2 children at the quoted price of Euro 140 per room per night. They claimed that it would only accomodate 3 so we finally agreed to pay Euro 170. They immediately communidated that to us so it was not a surprise upon our arrival. The room had 2 single bed and one sofa bed.

We had no breakfast included in the price, is not a good facilitie for somebody that is in a hotel. But in general is really nice, confortable, elegant, clean and is a one of the best rooms i have ever been. The recepcion was not ok cause the recepcionist try to come with us from coppo 1 to coppo 2 running...But it is ok. 8points. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful little hotel within 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's square. The rooms are in an excellent state of order and the bathroom was stunning. Cleanliness was first class. However, our first meeting was, I suspect, with the owner who has been mentioned previously. She was pretty off-hand and unfriendly providing not much of a welcome. The young staff in the morning and evening are very nice. One sore point was the presence of a sofa bed in my room instead of the 'double bed' I was expecting. It was hard, uncomfortable and creaked like a rusty steam engine. I would really expect a proper bed in a three star hotel and consider this unacceptable.Breakfast consists of one croissant and a bread roll per person, with sachets of butter and jam. It was probably the worst hotel breakfast I've had the misfortune to eat, and suprisingly for Italy, the coffee was awful too. I wouldn't stay here again, although it has many positives and it's a shame certain aspects let down my stay.

Were thrilled with the hotel, we wouldn't have found it from the directions given, we bought a good map and found the street on that before getting off the waterbus which was alot easier. The hotel is great, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and not expensive. Venice is beautiful, better than we imagined. Had a lovely few days, would recomend the hotel. Good position, easy to get to and from.

I have been in Venice more 10 times and to come there again I will make a choice for this hotel again, very good location to reach any place in Venice. Thanks a lot. |

Tucked away in a quiet lane although right in the middle of the action, this lovely little hotel was welcoming and spacious considering it's in the middle of venice! Air conditioned rooms, nice staff, good breakfast, and convenient location halfway between Rialto and San Marco so it's an easy walk to pretty much anywhere in Venice. Comfy beds, slept so well. We were placed in the two rooms next to the dining area and I found it unexpectedly quiet and private; actually we were a group of four who booked those two end rooms and it was great and private for us to have what felt like a suite at the edge of the hotel :) Have already recommended to friends. Pricey but worth it for the quiet and airconditioning (in July) and location for sure.

Good location, the hotel is near St Marks square. The room was clean and quiet but very small for three persons. Breakfast was ok. No elevator, have to carry suitcases on the second floor. Overall we were satisfied.

Very poor breakfast, very small and uncomfortable breakfastroom; one day we have to wait nearly half an hour in front of the hotel, because there was nobody at the reception to let us in (you got no keycard for the hotel-door!), but the junior-suite has a wonderful and romantic "terazza" and it´s beautiful to sit in the evening there, with a bottle of italian redwine, and look into the venecian sky! In summary a small hotel in a good very central situation, this might appologize the we think too high rates. Not very personally.

Hotel was difficult to locate perhaps we were under resourced with maps, etc or the instructions given could have been clearer. Reception staff did not demonstrate warmth and friendliness and were not proactive in providing advice or information.

The staff was very friendly and even greeted us by name when we first entered. The place was nice and homey. Location was a bit tricky to find, but also quieter at night. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Venice.
