Location - 20 minutes drive from Lake Garda, poor public transport and expensive taxis. You need to hire a car to get anywhere. Childrens facilities - only a pool, not great in bad weather (June, raining and windy for 2 out of 3 days) - childrens meals in the hotel were cheaper than adults - no high chairs. Restaurant - only one; good evening meals; only open for lunch if there are large business meetings or big groups; otherwise snacks from bar (crisps, chocolate, a few pre-packed paninis) Pool - open to the general public - so at weekends/public holidays is full of locals - therefore not very peaceful Rooms - lovely! Very nicely designed and luxurious. However, one day we were there we were still using the room when the cleaners came round - our daughter (9 months old) was ill and had been sick on the bed - we left the room whilst the cleaners were next door but they didn't come back. We asked at reception for 4 hours for the room to be cleaned but it never got done - eventually at 8pm they said it was too late for it to be cleaned - it was only when we asked for clean sheets ourselves that they came up and changed the bedding. The staff at that time were rude. Wellness facilities looked nice - unfortunately because of childcare we didn't manage to use them - we would probably only recommend this hotel for people without children who are just looking for one/two days spa break - but as the surroundings weren't very peaceful (on a main road on the outskirts of the town), not for much more than that.

The room was clean and spacious; breakfast was good- Eggs, toast, salad, fruit, juices and Coffee. The hotel surroundings are next to horse stables, which are ideal for those who ride, but there can be a smell outside, however it is not noticeable inside. There is a beautiful pool which we didn't have a chance to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay very much, albeit short.

Hotel is not far from Verona, about 15 min by car or you can go to the city centre by bus as well. The restorant was closed, but stuff recomended us a restorant near the hotel, which was really good. Car parking was free of charge. There were a lot of german pensioners and businesmen from India. The room for the price of EUR 80 per night including breakfast is very very OK. Breakfest was not bad, but not for 4 star hotel level. I would recommend this place for travellers with car.
