We were very happy with the standard of accomodation at the Angetode B&B. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the lady of the B&B was great for information on Rome. Myself and my Fiancee would recommend a stay there if one is planning a short weekend trip to Rome.

We liked this B&B very much, and felt that Valentina was extremely helpful. She gave us maps of the area, told us good walking routes, streets to avoid, recommended places to eat. She carefully prepares a simple breakfast for each person, and then you can enjoy chatting with her in her kitchen. We loved that -- being able to interact on a more personal note with a local. The rooms were spotless, as was the private bathroom. Don't worry about no hot water and other complaints -- if you listen to Valentina's instructions, you will be fine. I was there with my two older daughters and everything went very smoothly. I definitely recommend it, and it's convenient to the metro. Many sites are a bit far away, but the Colliseum is a 15-minute walk, and you can catch tourist buses there.

We loved our room, Valentina, and our location in Rome. Our room and bathroom were immaculate, and while our bathroom was across the hall, that was not a problem at all. Valentina was a wealth of information and went out of her way to provide suggestions and information. She made several calls for us, and even got us an accommodation for our last night in Rome when she didn't have a room. While our room was about a 15 minute walk from the main sights, there was a bus very near and the metro was not far for a quick ride into Termini station. Valentina arranged a driver to pick us up the airport for a reasonable fee which was really appreciated after our long flight from the states. We liked being away from the noise of the center part of Rome, and in a "regular" kind of neighborhood where we picked up local food and got a taste of what local life is like. We would definitely return to Valentina's Angetode B&B.

I loved everything about Angetode - from the owner to the room and the location. The B&B was only 10-15 minutes walk from Colosseum and other tourist sites, and the room was spacious, very very tidy and cute, as was the bathroom. Angetode is a clear reflection of the owner who is warm, friendly and caring. I came back home with a very very good impression of the B&B, and would definately recommend it to even my closest friends. Thanks Angetode!

My son and i spent a week at Angertode. The 2 Valentinas run their B and B in a professional manner, everthing is dealt with promptly and reliably, unlike some establishments in Rome that i could name! The rooms are spotlessly clean and are large, comfortable and well equipted, our bathroom had a good shower and was warm in mid November.Valentina made us a very pleasant breakfast each morning and i would think she offers far more than is usual in Italy, they don't really do breakfast like us Anglo Saxons! The Valentinas were a great help to us regarding places to visit, travel, places to eat, giving good advise and i thought with a genuine interest in trying to help us get the most out of our holiday.Angertode is well placed for the historic centre,we walked to the Colliseum in about !0 mins. The area arround feels safe, you get used to the graffiti which is a problem all round Rome and does not indicate a dodgy area like it would in an English city.To finish,i spent a long time choosing where we would like to stay in Rome and i noted how feedback was quite varied for both Hotels and BandB,Angertode is what i would call a proper place, run by people who take pride in what they do and are genuinely interested in their guests.

We found Valentina very welcoming and helpful,it was much more personal and friendly than a hotel. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were sparkling clean. The area was safe and clean with enough shops to supply our needs, with the metro in walking distance

Angetode has to be one of the best B&B in Italy. We arrived by taxi with the instructions sent to us via e-mail prior to our trip and the driver drove right there. Valentina provided us with lots of very useful information. We were walking distant to buses, the metro, and many historical sites. The area near the B&B is a nice residential area with restaurants, shops and a grocery store just 100 meters from the front door of Angetode. Our breakfast was very good and we enjoyed visiting with other guests and Valentina during our breakfast. I highly recommend Angetode to anyone who wants to visit Rome as a traveler as opposed to a tourist. Some day I hope to return. Kudos Valentina you are # 1 on my list of B&Bs.

Our stay at Angetode was excellent. Its location, facilities and our hostess Valentina made for a most enjoyable stay. Valentina was most helpful and provided my wife and I with the best advice on all aspects for enjoying our stay. Her suggestion for us to use a 'Roma Pass' was great value and made travelling around Rome so simple. Our only regret was not staying a few extra days and we'll definately go back.

It was the first time that I stayed at Angetode B&B and I can say that it is fantastic! Rooms are very clean and big. Valentina paid attention on your comfort and she recommed some tours and restaurants. Thank you very much for your attention Valentina!

Our expectations were exceeded. The rooms were very large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We did have to close the windows at night to shut out traffic noises, but that was not a big problem. The rooms were stocked with a large number of snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices (less than vending machine prices that we found in Italy). However, the service and hospitality really stood out. The owner took time to discuss our travel plans, explained how to use local transportation, gave good directions for the short walk to the Colosseum, called our next B&B to confirm our reservations, called a taxi for us, etc. All those things saved us a lot of time and trouble and were offered cheerfully as if we were family or friends.

Opening/closing the doors made loud sounds. Owner constantly communicated "quiet please" and "door please," which was worst than the noise made from the doors.

The moment your booking is confirmed you get you get a personal mail from Angetode saying hi and providing you with detail. Do not look any further!Angetode stands for gurdian angel and that is exactly how we can rate them. We had an accident in Turin and my sisters from Namibia, arrived on their own in Rome, but Valentina and Valentina (hostesses) took excellent care of them and helped them in every possible way.You will not be dissapointed according to them (my sisters).

Great value for money, about 15 min. walk from Colloseum. A bit hard to find initially, and limited restaurants next door (best kebabs/pizza we found in Europe just next door). Nice breakfast, spacious and clean rooms/public areas.

We were extremely happy with our five-night-stay at Angetode. First of all, the room and the bathroom were huge and spotlessly clean, both obviously recently renowated. There was a wide variety of minibar items available at a very good price. You could also make yourself a hot drink whenever you felt like it. We had a choice of breakfast (coffee, tea, cappuccino, ham and cheese, juice, yoghurt etc.), and every night Valentina, the owner, asked us if there was something different we would like to have the following morning. Valentina was always there to provide information, she was most helpful and friendly, we felt like at home. Because Angetode is not a hotel but a private home with b&b, it felt very safe. Valentina recommended us a nice fish restaurant which we liked so much that we went there again! Even though we were slightly doubtful at having to stay a bit far from the centre, that too turned out to be a blessing: much less traffic, safe surroundings, and nice restaurants, one of them just outside Piazza Ragusa (Tuscolana station). We are more than willing to stay at Angetode again, and also to recommend it to friends. Just a couple of things for Venere's attention: There was an extra charge of 5€/night for the air conditioning, and check-out is 10.30, not 12. Please be sure to provide correct information.

Fdo: Tecia y Alberto

Angetode is probably the best B&B you could find in Rome. The room and the bathroom were vey clean with all the conveniences you could get in a quality hotel. Valentina was really professional, welcoming and very helpful. The location of the B&B is also nice, in a quiet area, even a bit posh, with any shop you would need for your stay. 10 min by walking from the Colosseum and the nearest metro station San Giovanni. I will definitly come back to Angetobe and will recommand the address to a friend.

My first trip to Rome was the best due to the great service we recieved at this B&B. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. As are the spotless bathrooms. Valentina (the owner) has made this place a home away from home. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Rome and I would definitely stay there again! I had a little trouble finding it because the street numbers on one side of the street do not correspond to the opposite side. The owner provided bus/metro maps which were very helpful.
