My wife liked the massage chair but since the floor where it is located is for women only, I'll have to take her word for it. There are lots of shopping and eating establishments nearby. The room size was small but that seems to be the standard for Tokyo.

The Hotel Amista Asagaya was a very pleasant stay, everyone tried to help out if I had a question and although not a lot of the receptionists speak English, this is not a minus. Even if they could not help you they would find someone who could. I have not traveled much and this was my first time in Japan but the hotel was very friendly and I can write nothing but good things about this hotel. If you have never been to Tokyo I would highly recommend this hotel because of the proximity to the Metro Line which is essential to get around Tokyo. Again I feel the price was fair and I would recommend this to a friend

The Amista Asagaya was very comfortable and clean. The Hotel Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great pleanty of place's to eat and shop around the hotel. The Minami-Asagaya Station is only a block away. It can take you to Shinjuku (15 min) & Tokyo (25 min) stations.
