Location Description:
In Berchtesgaden itself you can visit the market, various historic buildings and the castle as well as the salt mine.
Berchtesgadener Land is famous for its wonderful and varied landscape where you can explore the mountains on a guided winter or summer tour in the national park. Alternatively hop on a mountain bike and take a ride on the many tracks in the surrounding area.
Königssee (12 km) - This idyllic Alpine lake, reported to be the cleanest in Germany, is home to the world-renowned Church of St. Bartholomew.
Obersalzberg (5 km) - Just 6 minutes drive away, this mountain is famous for being the location of Hitler's Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest) residence.
Salzburg (20 km) - A 20-minute drive over the border to Austria will take you to this beautiful city. The hotel can organise romantic horse and carriage tours for you.
Salzkammergut (30 km) - This stunning mountain and lake region just outside Salzburg is home to Fuschel castle and Hallein, a city of ancient salt mines.

This 44 m² apartment can accommodate 2-4 people and has a bedroom, a living room with sofa and desk, a terrace and a bathroom. It also offers a wonderful view of the valley and mountains.

This 50 m² apartment can accommodate 2-5 people and has a bedroom, living room, bathroom, a children’s room and a terrace. It also has a wonderful view of the valley and mountains.

A hot and cold breakfast buffet with many options is included in the price and guarantees a great start to the day.
In the summer you can enjoy many evening events in the town. For example on Monday evenings from 18:00 there are 3 different music events in the pedestrian area and in various restaurants.
Visit some of the local pubs, serving delicious regional and seasonal dishes and providing friendly service. At the hotel we have many copies of menus of the local restaurants and will gladly make recommendations if you are looking for a specific kind of cuisine. We can also help with making reservations.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 28 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, 65 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 3 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per stay for cots.
All children from 2 to 6 years are charged 20 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 30 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All children from 12 to 17 years are charged 40 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Transportation:
By car from the A8 motorway:
- Exit at Bad Reichenhall .
- Take the B20 towards Berchtesgaden until you come to Bischofswiesen
- Turn left after the second traffic lights, towards Aschauerweiher and the hospital.
- Drive past the hospital and then down the hill.
- Turn and drive towards Salzburg.
- You will come to a small village called Unterau.
- Turn right onto the B319 until you come to Oberau.
- At the top turn towards Oberau
- After the entrance sign of the village turn right and then left
- Drive past the sawmill and follow directions to Priesterstein, uphill.
- Continue to drive up the hill until you see a white sign for Wellness Landhaus on the left-hand side. You can park directly in front of the house.
Please note that you need a valid vignette if you use the motorway.
Airport shuttle can be arranged on request and for fee.
