Small and cozy as long as you don't stay too much :) It has a good location though. From here you can easily reach the center of Nice and some very nice places to see

Reservations at first after being given room above main entrance. No need to worry hotel was quiet. Excellent location for tourists, walking distance to bus station and tram. Train station 10 min walk. Breakfast at hotel adequate at 5 euros, prompt service, good start to the day. Would recommend for short stay.

I have always found the Acanthe hotel to be just what I need from my stays in Nice. Good Value, Good Location, Clean, Warm and Efficient Staff. The rooms and en-suite are small, but this is a bargain hotel in a fabulous location. I will be returning to Nice and I will return the the Acanthe when I do so.

stayed in Nice for 4 nights, it's a lovely city, we loved it very much. Beautiful beaches, water sports available, nice restaurants with sea food. Would only recommend ! Nice at night was busy, with ice cream shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Skaters on the promenade and generally we felt safe and relaxed, welcome too !! 9/10 points

Small business but well managed. Breakfast was little and no choice, not enough for adventured tourists like us. Anyway overall were good.

Great value: for my purposes (i.e. not luxurious, but practical & clean). That is important, as eating & drinking in Nice is relatively expensive. Central location. Lovely, helpful staff. I should definitely return there. "Mille fois merci."

Location is great and very central to everywhere and if you don't mind the rooms being basic and will be out sightseeing most of the time then this hotel is ideal. Our room had a really, really tiny bathroom. We asked to be moved to another room and the staff was great.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The wall is thin, so noisy. The shower was choked and dirty. And the second day, When I came back this hotel, the room was not cleaned!! Unbelivable. And I didn't know that the toilet is out of the room. Anyway I will never stay this hotel. It's the worst!!

If it's possible to get the "rotonda" room you will have fantastic view to the Place Massena. Great location, difficult to find parking place though (as usual in that area).

If you want to actually sleep, don't go here. The doors are all on spring hinges so they slam ALL NIGHT LONG. It's a really small room too

Good placement but the rooms are small. Beware: you have to pay a bit more than the established price due to some taxes that are not included in the price!
