We stayed 4 nigths at this B&B and it was pleasure. We felt like home since the B&B is actually flat with 3 rooms and kitchen. Bathroom is shared but we never had to wait to use it. Breakfast was nice and was served on the balcony:-) Location is not in the city center but there is very good public transport connection to main tourist atraction and benefit is that cafes, shops and restaurants in that area are very cheap which was very good:-) We would definitely reccommend to our friends. Thank you Gorgio and Fulvio for making our stay so nice!

We found Giorgio and Fulvio to be excellent hosts. Giorgio went out of his way to make suggestions and give directions so we could see the maximum number of sites during our stay in Rome. He even arranged for a friend to accompany us as a private tour guide for the Vatican & St. Peter's. This wonderful lady even stood in the ticket line for over 2 hours so we could see other sites and not waste time standing in line on a very busy day. Her knowledge of the Vatican, St. Peters and Rome, in general, was quite impressive. The breakfasts that were served at the B&B were exactly what we ordered at the exact time we requested. The other guests that we met were friendly and helpful. We felt like guests in a private home. Although the surrounding was, to say the least, unusual, we would not hesitate to stay with Giorgio and Fulvio on our next trip to Rome.

This was my first stay at Bed & Breakfast Abitazione Pigneto and I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants cheaper accommodation close to the center of Rome. The hotel is not in the actual center, and it would be difficult to walk to any tourist sites on foot, but it is a 20 minute tram/bus ride from Termini and about 15 minutes to the Church of Saint Giovani, from which you can walk to the Colosseum/Forum. The owner of the bed and breakfast was very friendly and helpful (he speaks Italian and French, but not much English). The breakfast included with the room was light, but good. Nice clean bathroom and kitchen space. There is a shared computer in the living room with internet access that you can use for free, which is a plus.

I have stayed in Rome 4 days. In fact this B&B is an apartment with three rooms, one kitchen, one bathroom. I think there is another apartment in front of this one, but I didn't stay there.

Muchos recuerdos Giorgio!

My boyfriend and I (24 and 20 years old) really enjoyed our holiday in Rome at Abitazione Pigneto. The room was big and really nice, with a wonderful balcony in which we had breakfast. The bathroom was in common with another couple, but it has not been a problem! Giorgio was very helpful and nice! The only problem was that often it was hard to find a bus to come back home at night (I suggest to take a bus for the station and then the tram for Pigneto). However we really enjoyed the holiday!

El pis on teniem l' habitació estava dedicat totalment als hostes.

Very helpful host who gave a lot of useful information to us. BTW, if you have 3 or more people traveling together, it's better to ask for the airport pickup service. Express train from FCO to termini station costs 11 euros and you need another 1 euro for tram from the termini station to this hotel.

Our stay in Rome was definitely enhanced by our host, Giorgio. He provided a wealth of information, and was helpful in every way. Our rooms were perfectly clean, and the location of the property allowed us easy access to all parts of Rome, either by foot or by bus or tram. I highly recommend this property (and Giorgio) to everyone.

The location isn't horrible but you do need to factor in price of bus tickets, time lost in going to/from the city, and traffic times. Agreed some shady characters in neighborhood nearby--didn't cause any harm but may have been different if I was alone. Overall for the price and cleanliness, it was a good place to stay. However, for my personal experience it wasn't so great because we got yelled at on the last night. We used their phone to call a toll-free number for our credit cards since they weren't cleared, and unfortunately it took a very long time because the credit card company kept switching us back and forth to different departments. Although at first the landlords were OK with it, later on they suddenly stormed in and bit our heads off. It ruined the rest of our night and we left Rome the next morning with a bad taste in our mouths. I understand we broke some rules (that weren't very clear in the first place) but I don't think it was fair of them to chastise us guests like that. I don't think they would've gotten charged for the call, but we left an extra 10Euro when we left just in case. We're sorry about the whole incident, but the level of rudeness was a bit too much in the end.

I would recommend to take advantage of landlord's offer to pick you up from the airport. The location is great - it has a lovely spirit of neighbourhood, where locals really live - not just a place for tourist. One could find the surroundings slightly dirty (the rooms themselves are cleaned perfectly, of course); but - maybe unfortunately - it is definitely not more dirty than the rest of Rome (you might be surprised by this, especially if you are used to Western or Northern Europe standards of neatness; but it is also important part of Rome experience). Landlords are great and extremely helpful - you can learn a lot about Rome from them.
