    Good standard of apartment. Kitchen equipment not as extensive as others. There is no oven. TV small. Local pubs do good quality cheap meals.

    Great Location - right opposite Transit centre and close to pubs, restaurants and only 5 minutes walk from Queen St Mall and casino. Rooms are larger than expected and very well equipped. Will definitely stay there again.

    A tired 80's apartment block, very uncomfortable beds, very noisy,the apartment smelt, never again

    It was awsome staying here. It was only 5 min walk to the city and right across the road from the train station. It was alright pricing but then what do you expect it's in the centre of everything with a good view.

    This was a nice place to stay. Convenient location - it's easy to get around and the Roma Street station's across the road. Staff are friendly and helpful and the accommodation was not too flash, but very comfortable. Parking underneath is a bonus. Would stay there again.

    The apartment we stayed in needs a complete overhaul, the bathroom needs to be ripped out and replaced along with the kitchen area, there was no balcony furniture to sit out in the evening, not that the transit Centre was particularly attractive. The walls were paper thin and the apartment smelled like a wet dog. The only good thing was that it was only a few minutes walk to the centre and about 15 minutes walk to south bank.

    The self rating of four ticks was a bit over the top. It was a basic unit in an apartment block near the bus terminal. A couple pubs close by did cheap meals. If yoiu wanted a decent restuarant it was four or five blocks away. Fine if it didnt rain as the streets seemed safe enough in this area. I have stayed in hotels for about the same cost. Bonus they make your bed but dont have a kitchen sink.

    We found staying at Abbey Apartments, just ideal for us, as we were travelling and were across the road from the train to the airport and also close to city centre etc. We had a great time,and it costs less (in fares) to be so central to the city.     We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment has everything you need. Lovely small pool and spa too.only 5/10 mins walk to queen st mall and all the shops.

    I''ve stayed at the Abbey many times. For the price of a hotel room you get a large one bedroom apartment, in a great location with free undercover parking. Modern, clean and value for money.

    Would have given top marks for everything but had the experience of finding the spare pillows had been previously used. They looked grubby and smelt of being used. The fault I would think of the cleaner and not indicative of the overall cleanliness of the apartments. We will certainly be going back as it had all we needed.
