Desayuno incluido y bueno. Algunas habitaciones tienen baño privado.

Essential style, not for demanding people. The cooker didn't work properly during our staying, the sink is outside the room and for sharing. Close to the subway, located in Rome's China town, you could say. In truth not that bad!

Casa Simpatia was not lived in by the owner, as you may assume this from the previous reviews. When we arrived we had to wait an hour to get in. The area wasnt the best and we didnt feel comfortable standing around with our luggage. The B&B itself was ok. The room was clean but badly in need of being updated, the sheets were well worn. We only saw Paulo once when he let us in. The girl who worked there was lovely and a great help! All in all we got what we paid for. But we didnt think much of the area. And our room was noisy and small. Its a 20 min tram ride to see any of the main attractions in Rome.

It is not a hotel, it is an apartment with rooms for rent. Difficult to arrive and far from city centre. There is no train station or metro near the place. The lordship is frindly and cheerful.

The b & b is very well situated, next to the underground. The owner is nice and make a decrase in the price if you are ready to make your breakfast. We had a flat to share with another couple, and we had the kitchen to make our breakfast.

Pozdrawiam i zyczê milego pobytu.

This Place of stay was EXTREMELY difficult to find and different from the room type confirmed. Paolo was abrupt and rude. The room was stayed in was small and dirty. We did NOT recieve any breakfast yet it was confirmed on the invoice that we were meant to. Would not stay here if we were to return to rome. I would seek to find cleaner and more central accomodation.

We arrived when stated, but the property manager was not on site. We had to call from a payphone that was located one block away. The property is located in a city-like atmospehere that is approximately 5 blocks from more populated areas of Rome, although it was closer to Termini Station than expected. The surrounding area seemed "sketchy" and we took taxi-cabs home at night to avoid the locals. Despite the lower class people that frequented nearby streets, we felt safe once in the property which contained a locked outer gate and an additional locked door into the building. The apartment itself was somewhat smaller than expected and really did not contain a kitchen, though we did not require one. The bathroom had sufficient hot water, though there is no separate area within the bathroom to contain the water that is used during showering. Water did leak out of the bathroom at times from showering and everything in the bathroom (toilet, sink, floor, toilet paper) was wet after showering. We received vouchers for breakfast at a really good cafe that was located 1 block from the property. Even still, the property was not really worth the amount of money that we spent for our stay ($164 for two nights). We will not be staying at this B&B during our future visits to Rome.

The property is a flat, you get one of its rooms. The ours was really small - there is almost no place for the luggage. But for the limited time we spent there it did not matter. Very comfortable is the fact that you can come and leave anytime and that there is always a kitchen available. This helps you to feel like at home - it is much better than in a hotel. Paolo and Simone are very kind and friendly. This B&B is a good choice.

We are statisfied with our stay at Simpatia. Taking in regard that it is a low budget place to stay it was pretty good. Maybe the kitchen could be a little bit more clean and there is hardly any extra spoon etc. We felt very welcome, the manager is a nice man, but: We've got a bottle of Italian wine at the first day, but there was no tool to open it (!)

Our experience was overall very pleasing. Paolo is a nice and upbeat host who even came to get us at Termini station upon arrival (extreeeemely helpful!!). The house is located 20 min. from the main attractions, which makes it both very easy to access at any time of day or night, but also provides a much appreciated quietness - well everything is relative in Rome!! Bring earplugs and you will be just fine! The only thing that I had a problem with was the quality of the mattresses. You could feel the huge springs as if you were sleeping right on them. But then again, you are so dead after walking all day in Rome that you don't really notice after a day or two. We recommend this place to all - can't beat the price. And if you want top comfort, there are plenty 5 star hotels around.

Understanding for the rate we paid for this place is quite like what we expected but nothing more. Location wasn't close to anything but the train station (which is not exactly a good thing in Rome) and the room was simple with cheap decoration. There wasn't a common area but just a hallway and it does not provide breakfast. Anyhow, i think Simpatia is clean and serve its purpose, and Paolo was quite nice and helpful.
