great, but quite noisy location. wouldn't advice abc to those who aren't used to climbing up stairs. the staff is friendly and helpful. bathroom is perfectly clean. i had no problem -- except the noise.

It's front rooms are at a busy en noisy street and there is no dubble glas window.Ear plugs solve that problem. Very good location and staff was o.k. You get what you pay for and that is not the Hilton hotel but a cheap hotel in the centre, no more, no less

The hotel is located on the second floor of the regular dwelling, so it may be a problem for visitors with heavy luggage - there is no lift. The place is very noisy even with closed windows but one can survive for a days. Upon arranging a taxi one should remember to wait on the other way of the street since there is no chance to park in front of the hotel. Very close to major Milan tourist attraction.

I stayed in the 1 bed/with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom was very clean and just across the hall from my room. For less than 40 euro a night, it was very much worth the money. The staff was helpful as well.

Our stay in your hotel was not bad, but we expected a different kind of hotel, by our understanding their would be hookers present, and that was not the case. The lack of hookers was a great dissapointment for us, but overall it was a nice stay at your hotel.

It is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. I had a triple room and was small, the private bath had no heater, there were no towels and I had to go for them instead of having somebody bring them to me.Forget about having somebody call you after midnight. The lady attending during night would hang up on them (she is rude and disrespectful). There is no elevator and the hotel starts on the 3rd floor (no help provider). Venere should take this hotel out of their web page! The only good comment I have is for the lady attending during days on weekdays (receptionist) and the nice lady serving breakfast.

Reception employes are not so kind. The bedroom was very old and poorly furnitured, windows so old that wind came in with no effort and traffic noise was so loud that it seemed to be on the street. The tables in the breakfast bar were always dirty, the breakfast was poor and as things finished (sugar, serviettes and so on) were not placed again.

The hotel is definitely a bit frayed on the edges, but clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We reserved a room for two couples, but they put us in two separate rooms for the same price. I’ve seen other comments complaining that the rooms were too cold. We stayed the first tweekend in January, and we were very comfortable. There is a small, terraced cappuccino bar on the second level [they add the coffees to your hotel bill]. We brought our dog. Before we booked the room, we looked online [not venere.com] for more details about ABC’s pet policies and saw that they allow dogs. They did not specify on the website what SIZE dog they allow and were a little shocked to see our 90lb. pooch. We should have called the hotel directly, but because of our shyness with the language, we took the easy way out. They gave us a room with a terrace and said she had to stay outside. We ended up dragging her all over town with us, which wasn't much fun. Most travellers won't be in this situation, so I still recommend the hotel. The neighborhood is safe, which I hear isn’t always the case in Milan. The hotel probably won’t like me mentioning this, but there is also a large, fenced dog park about a block up the street.

The people were nice. the breakfast was minimal. The place could have used a little sprucing up.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel November 24-27. We flew into Bergamo and took a shuttle bus to Milans main city center it cost 12 euro for two people. Then took a taxi to the hotel it cost only 10 euro. Everything was great and the location, we were able to walk to all the sites with out using public transportation of course with a good map. The hotel provided us a map.The only complaint we had was that the room was cold the heater didn't work very well. We did have 2 extra blanket to keep us warm. We didn't complain about the room being cold because we really weren't in the room long to notice we were out all day and came home at night to sleep. There is a great store around the corner of the hotel to buy cheese/bread your choice of lunch meat. I'd recommend staying in a room in the back not facing the street due to noisy cars. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast is not included in the price of the room, it consisted of expresso with crossiant for 4 euro each. The breakfast room upstairs was nice and cozy. I recommend taking a day trip to see Lake Como which only an hour a away the cost is 45 euro each, the tour was great. We found it on a flyer the agency I believed is called Zianni Viaggi. The weather this time of year for us was cold/rainy/snowy but the weather didn't stop us from touring the sites. I would come back and stay at this hotel in the Spring time.

The room was at the loud front-side ( many cars ), the next time I will order one of the double- rooms to the back ( as shown in the home- page ). The staff was competent and friendly.

I was surprised how nice the room was, but it was a little bit noisy outside because of the traffic. I would recommend it , not only to low- budget- tourists

you could have told us that the room we stayed in would have water when we wake up!!!!! although we were compensated(20 euros) you try and dry clean a coat and 2 tops for that in London. The assistant was extremely rude and we wouldn't recommend your "hotel" to anybody!

The staff at ABC was helpful and friendly. They tried to help in any way they could. The room was larger than I expected. It would have been nice to have air-conditioning but even without it, the mosquito nets should be a must. There was no elevator in the building considering the fact that the hotel starts on a higher floor. The hotel was closer to the Missori subway rather than Duomo. I consider it a little pricey (considering quality only).

A charming friendly little hotel in exactly the right location. we had a room with a terrace which I would thoroughly recommend - perfect. The breakfast was excellent - fantastic capuccino and perfectly fresh pastries and served until 10.30 - so good for us late risers. The staff were lovely and I would definitely stay again.

The place is good enough. Employees were competent and helpful. Problems: 1. The fan didn't work properly and the room was really hot. 2. The room chair was very unconfortable. 3. The place is within a building. There is no lift. However, I believe ABC is a nice place to stay if you want to be in the center for a convenient price.

Charming place, and the staff were excellent. The decor of the rooms was nice. The breakfast was great. The map and directions were not adequate; we were lost for 1/2 hour before we figured it out. It's in a noisy area. It was a bit expensive, though I suppose Milan is expensive. I would recommend it to others.
