Financially friendly accommodation with hostel-type rooms in the center of Prague 5 - prices from 340 Czk ( 15.- € ) per day per person. The hostel is located within a 5 minute walk from the stop Andel ( metro B) and offers 2, 3 and 4 beds per room. Near by you will find Bertramka, a place where W.A.Mozart stayed while in Prague. It takes 10 minutes to get to Mala Strana, from there you can proceed to Prague Castle , Charles Bridge and other historical heritage.
Our hostel offers you free parking in a locked yard, a common room with a TV and kitchen for preparing breakfasts. The lavatories including shower are common for 3 to 4 rooms.
For bigger groups we offer better prices.

Directions (how to arrive at the establishment) : Arrival by car in the direction from K.Vary and Teplice (Airport) – keep following Karlovarska Street, then turn to the left on Slanska Street, after 2km turn to the left on Plzenska Street. You will go about 6km keeping straight along Plzenska (later Vrchlickeho) Street until you see the Movenpick Hotel on the right side. But you keep turning left around a block of flats to get back on Plzenska Street (tram line) and the first passage on the left around the corner is the Hostel entry.
Arrival by car in the direction from Plzen (Rozvadov) – you’ll follow the connection Rozvadovska Spojka till the end, then keep going to the right to get on Bucharova Street, descend down the hill and down at the crossroad turn to the right to get to Plzenska Street. You will go about 4km keeping straight along Plzenska (later Vrchlickeho) Street until you see the Movenpick Hotel on the right side. But you keep turning left around the block of flats to get back on Plzenska Street (tram line) and the first passage on the left round the corner is the Hostel entry.

General Trends and Conditions

These General Trends and Conditions (hereafter called only "terms") of Hostel 5 govern the mutual contractual relations between the accommodation facility Hostel 5 and natural persons or as the case may be legal entities as clients of the Hostel 5 services in accordance with the respective provisions of the generally binding legal regulations of the Czech republic like the Civil Code, Commercial Code and others. The terms are binding for all parties participating.

Arrival and departure
The rooms in the hostel always are available to the customer starting after 14:00 h (2.00 p.m.) on the agreed arrival date. Rooms always must be vacated no later than 10.00 h (10:00 A.M.) of the agreed departure date. If a condition occurs obstructing the client to arrive on the agreed date, the client is obliged to notify the hostel 5 reception of this fact.

Touristic charges – taxes
In the Czech republic the tourists have to pay the so-called touristic taxes or municipal charges in accommodation facilities. These charges will be exacted for short term stays and range from CZK 10.00 to 20.00 per person and day. The prices shown in the price list already include these charges.

Cancellation terms
The customer is entitled to cancel the order even without stating the reason. This cancellation is exclusively to be done in writing or by e-mail. The cancellation comes in force by the moment of delivery of the demand for canceling. Cancellation charges at complete or partial cancellation of the order are paid by the customer, they are due immediately and will be fixed in following way:

• canceling 30 and more days previous to the start of stay: 0% of the total amount for lodging.
• canceling 29-15 days previous to the start of stay: - 30% of the total amount for lodging.
• canceling 14-10 days previous to the start of stay: - 50% of the total amount for lodging.
• canceling 9-0 days („no cancel“) previous to the start of stay: - 70% of the total amount for lodging.
• in cases when the customer did not pay an advancement (especially at individual reservation via on-line systems) there will be claimed against the customer in cases of „no-show“ or of a lowering of the number of accommodated persons a canceling charge amounting to the price of one night for each person by which the number of accommodated persons was decreased.

45 days before the start of stay the ordering customer will be sent an advancement invoice amounting to 50% of the total amount for accommodation. In case of this advancement not being paid within 10 working days, the reservation will be canceled.

Changes of the booking
It might occur that the customer needs to effectuate an additional change in his previous booking, for instance a change of the date of arrival, departure, or of the number of persons to be accommodated. After a preceding mutual agreement such changes are feasible. Note: if the customer needs to decrease the number of persons or the number of days of stay, such change will be considered like canceling of the stay and be treated in accordance with the cancellation conditions. Hostel 5 reserves the right to undertake changes in the booking in case of important circumstances. In case of such changes the customer will be informed without delay. Should these changes be disadvantageous for the customer, he is entitled to refuse them and Hostel 5 will restitute the customer´s payment to the account of the same.

Cancellation of the stay by the customer party.
In case that Hostel 5 will have to cancel the lodging for whatever reasons, it immediately will inform the customer. Hostel 5 assumes the right to offer the customer an equivalent substitution. If such a possibility is not available the advancement (if such was paid) will be sent by return of wiring to the customer´s account. The customer is only entitled to the restitution of money paid from his part..

Construction work
Hostel 5 unfortunately cannot influence the situation when works are performed in the environment of the accommodation facility. The client should be aware of such a possibility. Hostel 5 cannot assume a control over such work, noise and similar, and holds no responsibility for such a situation.

Public transportation – take Metro (either the C line from Main Station and Holesovice stations or the B line from Masarykova Station) and get to the stop Andel. Here get off and take tram No.9, 10 or 4 in direction to Repy (Kotlarka). You’ll go one stop, then get off and go back about 100 meters along the street to get to the Hostel. Another possibility is to reach it walking directly from Andel stop along the Plzenska Street which is about 300 meters.
