Overall, good quality for the price. Very good buffet breakfast; rooms were clean and well-serviced, but noisy. We had a loud group next door that sounded as if they were in our room. Also, the sound from people coming off the elevators was transmiited to our room through the walls. That is our only complaint, although it is a major one, lowering the overall rating. If they could somehow improve the sound travel, this would be a very top notch hotel. Location is excellent, one block from Plaza de Mayo, Bus stop outside hotel front door and Subte entrance across the street.

- old building, thin walls, you hear everything - practically no reaction to polite complaints - reception desk always busy - staff obviously has no international experience - completely overpriced for given quality - lots of great altenatives down Av. de Mayo - 20% tax are to be added to indicated price - airport transfer organised by hotel 50% more expensive than done on your own

Very good hotel in central location. The Reception Staff were very helpful when I needed some assistance. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Only suggestion is to bring earplugs as the plumbing system sounds a bit antiquated!

The Hotel Nogaro was good. It is right in the heart of the city. The rooms were clean and it was serviced everyday. The hotel also has free internet and the front desk speaks English if your Spanish is a little rusty. The only thing that I would say negative is that sometimes there would only be one person at the front desk checking in/out 20 people at the same time. We also called down to the desk several times and no one answered. Overall though, the staff was nice and accommodating. You can't beat the location. It's near everything. We walked most places.

excellent breakfast, horrible welcoming, no messages on phone calls received. someone tried to call us and he was answered there was no one in the hotel called with our name!!! at 3 p.m. our room was not cleaned. I want to know th person who designed the bathroom: just young, athletic and thin people would have been able to sit on the toilet!!! i'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the bathroom, I've never seen such a crazy setting up.

Hotel was close to several historic sites and easy walking distance to Florida Street shopping. Breakfast buffet was a plus, it allow us to get the day started without worry of finding a place to eat.Hotel did have some noise from other rooms during the night. The wood floors in the rooms may have added to the noise levels.

Excellent location, right next to Plaza Mayo, which is the center of activity in this wonderful city. Also easy stroll to Puerto Madero and San Telmo, excellent places to eat and hang out. Staff at Nogaro is extremely helpful and knowledgable, and they speak English well. Rooms are a little noisy because the hotel is old but overall, excellent value for money.

Great friendly bilingual staff, very helpfu. Two small elevators, very busy making it difficult to get bags down for early check out. Business center in lower level with 2 computers.Small bar serving drinks & light snacks at night. Only one staff person and service occassionally slow.Breakfast buffet very generous with wide variety of food, made to order eggs, juices, coffee & tea.Location cental...steps from Florida St. & ATM. Easy brisk walk to San Telmo & Puerto Madero.

I was missing a touch of "charm" of the hotel complex. Maybe this assessment is biased because I switched from Marriott Plaza to Nogaro due to lack of room availability (prolonged my stay!).
